All words / At least one of the words
Search for pages containing all the search words or for pages containing at least one of the words.
Fixed word order
Put two or more words in inverted commas to find your search words in the exact order in which you entered them, e.g. "United Nations".
Topics
You can restrict your search to a specific topic.
Document type
You can restrict your search to specific types of documents, e.g. "press releases" only.
Time period
You can search for documents that were published within the specified period of time.
Sort
If you select "Relevance", the best search results appear at the top of the results list. If you select "Topicality", the most recent hit pages appear at the top.
